Volunteers are key to successful clubs and we believe these opportunities open up a world of experiences and possibilities to forge new relationships and networks, gain new skills and refine existing strengths.

SRFU VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Digital Content Officer
We are currently recruiting for a volunteer Digital Content Officer to join the SRFU team.
​
The Digital Content Officer will be responsible for delivering a drumbeat of content across SRFU digital and social media channels to contribute to the growth of the game, with a particular focus on engaging underrepresented communities alongside retaining existing players and volunteers.
​
This a voluntary role requiring a commitment of approx. 6-8 hours per month during the rugby season, plus four SRFU events per year.

Within the SRFU, we have several opportunities for students to volunteer as representatives of our membership, bringing ideas and perspectives to benefit the university rugby game, and the development of rugby more widely.

Diversity and Inclusion Project Group - As part of an ongoing review of its governance and ways of working, the SRFU has recently introduced a new Diversity and Inclusion Project Group, bringing together volunteers, students and industry experts to continue to make positive change and make the student game as inclusive as possible.
These working groups help shape the work of the SRFU as well as contributing directly to the delivery of support to University Rugby.
